THE LONGING

Polypoikilos Sophia (πολυποίκιλος σοφία) names a wisdom woven in many colors, a wisdom that resists isolation and chooses to be revealed through the Body of Christ, as though God waits for a people to stand together before unveiling what has long been in His heart.  This is not a truth I arrived at through sharp insight or private clarity, but one I am learning slowly through longing. The journey of seeking His heart has unsettled my earlier assumption that wisdom belongs to those who stand alone with confidence. Scripture keeps drawing me toward a different posture. Wisdom does not mature only in solitude. When the weight of real people, real wounds, and real complexity is applied, isolated certainty begins to fracture. Divine wisdom waits for communion.
