Polypoikilos Sophia (πολυποίκιλος σοφία) names a wisdom woven in many colors, a wisdom that resists isolation and chooses to be revealed through the Body of Christ, as though God waits for a people to stand together before unveiling what has long been in His heart. This is not a truth I arrived at through sharp insight or private clarity, but one I am learning slowly through longing. The journey of seeking His heart has unsettled my earlier assumption that wisdom belongs to those who stand alone with confidence. Scripture keeps drawing me toward a different posture.
